Take your training to the next level with a week of kangeiko (intensive cold-weather training). For this special event, participants commit to training every day for a week in the middle of New England's coldest weather.
The week culminates with an in-house seminar taught by our resident yudansha: Judy Ringer, Zach Nobel, Mardi Kidwell, and Doug & Sylwia Willcox. The seminar is free of charge and will run from 10am to 2pm, followed by a potluck celebration.
As an added bonus, members who complete the week-long training will receive a custom calligraphy by Yuka Cass to celebrate their hard work and dedication. Members interested in participating should let Chief Instructor Aaron Cass know by email that they intend to complete the week.
The schedule will run as follows:
- Sunday 1/28 - 4-5:15pm
- Monday 1/29 - 5-6:30am (morning)
- Tuesday 1/30 - 7-8:30pm
- Wednesday 1/31 - 4:30-6pm
- Thursday 2/1 - 7-8:30pm
- Friday 2/2 - 5-6:30am (morning)
- Saturday 2/3 - 10am-2pm followed by presentation of calligraphies and potluck party
